  • No early redemption penalties
  • Geographic lending area - e.g. Scotland only
  • Total cost over the life of the loan
  • Changing the term to get a more affordable loan

We have chosen a route to give you the facts about deals and your options. We do not recommend what might be best for you, and if you are unsure, you should seek help from a regulated mortgage adviser.

We can however provide generic help - for example we can explain what a fixed rate mortgage is. 

We can also help you organise rates into a format of your choosing. For example, you may want to compare the top 3 fixed rates against the top 3 variable rates and see how they compare. 

We can also build into the figures extra fees, such as the fee a broker might want to charge you, to show you how this might affect the outcome of a deal. Remember though, that regulated brokers also charge for the hep and advice they give, which can help you make the right decisions. If you are unsure what to do, this can be a valuable service.

Below is an example summary report showing you how we begin our search. You can see how many 'Adviser' deals there are compared against the other direct deals. If your broker does not recommend direct deals (few do) then see what you could be missing!
